In Adobe Acrobat XI Pro Software on the menu bar open Help About Adobe Plugins. A list of installed and/or available plugins for the program are displayed and marked certified. However, several of the plugins listed are also listed as not installed. It appears plugins are downloaded by default. Thousands of apps to enhance your experience with products across all Adobe Clouds. Are you using a new Apple Silicon M1 device? If so, plugin support is not available on Apple Silicon M1 devices.

Welcome to the 2020 release of the Acrobat SDK version 2021.1.1. The downloads are new and the documentation is rapidly evolving.
The Acrobat DC SDK provides tools that help you develop software that interacts with Acrobat technology. The SDK contains header files, type libraries, simple utilities, sample code, and documentation. These tools provide several methods for developing software that integrates with Acrobat products, including JavaScript, plugins, and interapplication communication.

You must upgrade 32-bit plugins to 64-bit for them to work with the 64-bit app.
The SDK provides 64-bit public headers to 3rd party plug-in developers so that they can successfully create or upgrade their plugins to 64-bit.
